Tea out and fun in the garden

Today we were invited to a tea fund raiser for street children of Bolivia at a rather posh house. The house was enormous as was the garden which had a pool, woodland area and extra parking area at the bottom of the garden. Owen and Erin headed straight to the "woods" to find feathers, pine cones and sticks to build their house. Lynese mingled with her friends and we all enjoyed a cup of tea.

When we got home Erin had a nap and Owen and I went out to buy his birthday soccer candles and party bag soccer chocolates that I spotted when I was out on a ME shop. He loves the clock in the square so stopped to have a picture with it.

When we got home he created the lego tree by the water with a plane flying overhead.

Owen put on Douglas's Wellies and walked around the garden like a big monster, laughing constantly and concentrating really hard on not falling over.

I spotted an earthworm in the garden which Owen promptly picked up and started playing with. He has never touched one before and found it a real joy to be able to do so.

After dinner we headed back into the garden to have races, play catch, kick the ball and water the garden as each day seems to be the hottest day of the year in the UK!
